GATE- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an examination which opens the gateway to booming public organizations and in the field of research . GATE is an All-India examination administered and conducted in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising of Faculty members from IISc, Bangalore and other seven IITs on behalf of the National Coordinating Board, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering and Technology. Staff Selection Commission Junior Engg. Level conducts written exam of subjective and conventional type every year for Junior Engineer posts. Large number of candidates usually appear for this test but only a few are able to qualify it. The selection for JE posts is done on the basis of marks in written exam and interview. As compared to other competitive examinations theses exams are more difficult as they deal more with the technical knowledge of the particular specialization for which the candidate is applying.
